We start of a new year of Lionism and hope everyone will have a good summer.

Lion of the Year was Tom Rastetter..Congratulations Tom
Lion Jack Edwards is awarded "2009 Melvin E. Jones Fellow". Besides 22 years perfect attendance with our club Jack has worked with the Boy Scouts and is a 50 year member of Christ United Methodist Church.
July 23 Family Picnic at Silver Park. Bring a "White Elephant" prize for Bingo. Don't forget your own table service.

Activities :

Eye Care Program: Exams and glasses provided free of charge to people who can not otherwise afford this care.
Elementary School Eye Screenings conducted at all local schools. We also help other clubs in the area.
Help the Salvation Army during the Christmas Season by maning the kettles located at local businesses.
Every year we dip ice cream and serve snow cones at the local park festival. Great fun and lots of exposure
Lion Boyd Webster is asking for other Lions to help work on the Habitat for Humanity house on Homestead Ave in Alliance. Needed May and June call Boyd for information.
